Taunton Welcomes Refugees (TWR) works with volunteers to befriend refugees in Taunton, Wellington, Bridgwater and the surrounding area and is, of course, deeply saddened by the current war in Ukraine.

Are you thinking about hosting a refugee or family who has fled Ukraine? Have you registered for the Homes for Ukraine scheme, or thinking about doing so?

TWR has experience and knowledge to support hosts who are opening their homes to Ukrainians. Do you know much about the geography of Ukraine, the main religious beliefs and festivals, language, and cultural activities of the people who are already arriving in our county?
